• Patrick Corrigan

    PRESIDENT

    Patrick was formerly a Senior Advisor within President Trump’s Office of Management and Budget (OMB) performing the duties of the Controller. Prior to joining OMB, Patrick worked for over 25 years at a variety of financial services firms (i.e. Bankers Trust, Deutsche Bank & Barclays) after starting at Ernst & Young auditing government and financial services clients. Patrick has a BBA in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and is a  CPA, CFA, CFP™ & Notary Public (DC).

  • Sean McMahon

    CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

    Sean was formerly the Chief Financial Officer of the Leadership Institute (LI), where he built out a finance department which was described as “one of the most technologically-advanced nonprofit finance departments”. With deep experience in systems implementation and integrations, Sean has successfully implemented multiple instances of Sage Intacct accounting software, as well as AP automation, FP&A budgeting and reporting, corporate expense management, and HRIS tools. Prior to his time at LI, Sean worked at the Conservative Partnership Institute, The Heritage Foundation, and the United States Congress. McMahon holds an M.Phil from the University of Cambridge, England and a B.A. from Ave Maria University.

  • Nick Stoltzfus

    CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT

    Nick Stoltzfus is a CPA licenses in the Commonwealth of Virginia. He began his career in that tax practice of PwC LLP where he focused on tax exempt organizations. Prior to joining Compass Professional, Nick served as Director of Accounting and Controller at the Heritage Foundation in Washington, DC. He specializes in providing back-office services to startups in the nonprofit and for-profit space and is an active angel investor. Nick holds an MS in Accounting and a BS in Commerce from the University of Virginia, McIntire School of Commerce.

  • Mireya Torra

    CHARTED GLOBAL MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT

    Mireya Torra is a seasoned CPA (inactive) and CGMA with 30+ years of experience in public accounting and various private industries. She has a comprehensive understanding of all aspects accounting, including the preparation of financial statements to GAAP and other comprehensive basis of accounting, including Statutory Accounting  Principles. She also earned a BA in Business Management and managed all daily accounting activities for nonprofits, corporations and LLCs. She has also managed human resources departments and prepared various federal, state, and local income tax returns. Mireya has experience developing new billing and reporting procedures, and has presented audited financial statements at annual membership meetings. 

  • Sean Tarnowski

    CONTROLLER

    Sean Tarnowski has gained valuable political experience as a Field Director for a congressional campaign in Southern California’s 49th district and as a Field Consultant for the National Republican Senatorial Committee in Atlanta, Georgia.

    He joined Compass Professional in 2021 as the first employee, where he played a key role in developing the company’s technology systems and financial operations. Sean is a graduate of Indiana University with degrees in pre-law and an MBA. He currently resides in Orange County, California, with his wife and son.

  • Alyssa Graham

    SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

    Alyssa Graham is a distinguished graduate of Pensacola Christian College, where she earned a degree in finance, along with minors in accounting and management, in 2023. Her academic excellence was recognized with the highest honors, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Alyssa’s professional experience includes an internship under the CFO of a global leader in IoT location services technology, where she honed her skills in accounting and HR. At Compass Professional, she has gained experience in 1099 filings, audit preparation, and financial reporting. Additionally, Alyssa manages our caging process, ensuring staff maintain accurate and efficient procedures. Alyssa is a Notary Public (DC).

  • Andre Chang

    CORPORATE SECRETARY

    Experienced in legislative research, speechwriting, and nonprofit accounting, Andre has supported elected officials, policy organizations, and campaigns through roles with the South Carolina Freedom Caucus, The Claremont Institute, and Compass Professional. He has led student civic engagement initiatives, served on university governance councils, and conducted research in constitutional law and voter behavior. His background blends operations, public service, and a commitment to advancing principled leadership.

  • Grace Sullivan

    ACCOUNTS PAYABLE MANAGER

    Grace grew up in Denver, CO. She got her professional start as an intern at the Leadership Institute in 2019. Since then, she has worked in many different areas of development, and now works for Compass Professional. When Grace is not traveling for work, she enjoys spending time with friends from church, reading, and hiking.es here

  • Alexander Gage

    MAIL PROCESSING MANAGER

    Experienced in legislative research, economic policy, and constituent services at both the U.S. Senate. He previously served as a Research Assistant at The Heritage Foundation and held multiple policy internships in Washington, D.C. In addition to his government and think tank roles, he currently works as a part-time Manager at Compass Professional. His background combines hands-on mechanical experience with a deep commitment to public service and policy analysis.

  • Mary Haas

    PAYROLL CONSULTANT

    Mary Haas, with 16 years of consulting experience, leads the Payroll offering at Compass Professional. She specializes in administrative services for non-profit and start-up organizations, including financial management, fundraising, and human resources. Leveraging her connections with national payroll firms, she secures discounts for clients on payroll and benefits. Her HR consulting has aided in employee recruitment, doubling one company’s team size from 40 to 80. Mary ensures industry compliance and manages databases, in addition to facilitating training and implementing procedures. 

  • Thomas Datwyler

    FEC COMPLIANCE CONSULTANT

    Over the last twelve years, Thomas Datwyler has served as treasurer for numerous state and federal campaigns and committees. Thomas has extensive experience with FEC compliance and reporting, contribution processing, and record keeping. He has worked with political parties, committees, PACs, and candidates at the state and federal level. Thomas began his career as a finance intern at the 2008 Republican National Convention in St. Paul, MN. He’s a spouse, father, and marathon runner. He holds a Business Finance and Accounting degree from Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, MN.
